The fountain base and tower are made from stainless steel the arguer which takes the Belgian chocolate to the top of the tower, so the chocolate can flow over the top of the fountain is made from polymer plastic.
The mini chocolate fountain comes with a 1250g bucket of Belgian chocolate, which will cater for 20 to 25 guests. All you have to do is heat the fountain, melt the chocolate in the microwave, pour the chocolate into the base of the fountain and turn the fountain on.
The chocolate fountain pulls down to 3 parts for easy cleaning. The tower & the auger can be easily washed in the dishwasher or by hand, while the base, which holds the chocolate can be easily emptied and rinsed with warm soapy water.
